Meet Tony
Tony Koch has been in the transportation industry for 20 years, spending most of that time as an owner and operator with his own truck. He joins GW Transportation as our customer service representative. Tony brings those decades of experience on the road and in the industry to our deeply experienced staff.
In his current position as a customer service representative, Tony helps to maintain and build our stellar reputation for unrivaled customer service. As someone who has worked both behind the wheel and in administration, he is in a unique position to understand the needs of the drivers we work with, and some of the frustrations that clients and customers may experience. Leveraging this knowledge, Tony says that his favorite part of his job is “Just helping people. I love solving problems, and making their experience as non-stressful as possible.”
Service First
Tony brings a knowledgeable and personable component to the GW Team. He has started work on customer and driver data. Tony has helped to clean up systems and streamline how GW interfaces with driver data. This helps Traffic Coordinators and other employees at GW to operate more efficiently. Tony is excited to be part of a friendly and people-first office. When asked about what sets GW Transportation apart from competitors, he said that the personal level of customer service and the thoroughness with which GW handles each and every client is unmatched across the industry and keeps partners coming back.
When Tony isn’t working to help GW’s customers, he enjoys art. Additionally, he is a sculptor and uses mixed media to create works of art for himself. Tony looks forward to creating more pieces in the future and continuing to grow his artistic skills. He also enjoys being outside and spending time in nature.
